Due Dates

Every campaign has a due date that you specify on the campaign settings page. After the due date passes, texters can no longer send initial messages to contacts on that campaign. This prevents you from accidentally starting a conversation regarding an outdated topic, such as information about an event that has already happened. 

Texters can continue ongoing conversations after the due date and administrators can always edit a campaign's due date. A campaign only ends when you archive it.
